Meet my family!
My name is Nicole. I am a 28 year-old mommy of 3 year-old Mason. I am happily married to Bryan- an awesome husband and AMAZING father. I recently left the workforce in search of a "job" that would be fun, fullfilling, and in high demand. Being that we were two parents, each often working 45-50 hours a week, I can understand and appreciate how hard it is to find excellent, affordable childcare. So, here we are...
I am able to offer your family:
· An intimate and energetic learning environment for your child(ren)
· A Clean, Safe, Healthy, Smoke-Free atmosphere
· Schedule Flexibility
· Affordability- offering both hourly and weekly rates
· Professionalism and Consistency in care with each child
· Moral Stability
· Compassion and light-heartedness
· Excellent personal references (available upon request)
· A CLEAN background check (can be viewed on the Care.com website)
· State licensing (in progress) and CPR/First Aid Certification
I have been involved with childcare my entire life. From the time I was born until the time I moved out of my parents home, my mother provided in-home childcare. There were at least 3-5 children ranging in age of a few months to pre-teen. When I myself became a pre-teen, I began assisting my mother with her childcare program. I even became the person the parents would call when they needed a "date night" or some last minute coverage. By the age of 15 I was trusted to tend and take care of children of all ages and developement levels. This included two young girls with Downs Syndrome, as well as a little boy with severe nut allergies. I was fortunate enough to be able to have childcare as my first steady job and it has stuck with me ever since.
After I graduated highschool I moved on to college but still watched the children of friends and family members when time allowed. I recieved a degree in Hospitality and Tourism and became a manager overseeing 50+ staff members (and believe me- managing people is VERY much like babysitting)...hahaha. Anyhow- 3 years ago I was blessed enough to have a child of my own and gave up the late night restaurant industry and moved into the healthcare industry by managing a spa.
I am now expecting my second child, and it has left me to appreciate the importance of time with my children to an even higher degree. I believe in one on one time and personal attention. I love educating and watching a child grow. I like to have fun and find new and exciting things to introduce them to. I am thrilled with parenthood and thrive on being able to see a child blossom and mature.
The world is a crazy, busy place these days. But I also believe that our little ones dont deserve to be thrown into that at a young age. That is why I have decided to follow in my mothers footsteps and provide FUN, dependable, flexible, budget friendly, educational, nurturing childcare from my home.
